New 2015 Subaru Legacy is an honored and competitive leader in the class of middle-size sedans.
Four trim levels are included: 3.6R Limited, 2.5i Limited, 2.5i Premium and 2.5i.
Comparing to some other cars it’s much more attractive and is reasonably compact in size, although it has much space inside. Redesign features six-sided radiator grille, pitched windscreen and much lower body, which underlines the image of this car making it look even more handsome. Interior features gauges which are lit in blue color, LCD screen placed between the dials for improving user experience. Fans are mounted high on the dashboard, so there is more space for a touch screen that is located above panel with switches and knobs. Higher trims feature metallic and textural interior design.
As you can apparently surmise from the names of trim levels, 2015 Subaru Legacy sedan can be equipped with either four-cylinder 2.5 liter or six-cylinder 3.6 liter engine. The first one is horizontally opposed Subaru Boxer engine that generates 175 horsepower. The second one produces 256 hp. Both engines can be paired only with CVT featuring paddle shifters mounted on steering wheel. Legacy 2.5i Premium is able to race up to 60 mph in 9.4 seconds, which is not such a competitive spec as competitors have. Four-cylinder motor will allow you to reach 26/36 mileage (city/highway), which is rather impressive for AWD car. Six-cylinder engine provides 20/28 mpg, which is better than its predecessor equipped with the same engine.
Price is quite moderate – 2015 Subaru Legacy MSRP starts at $21,695.
