New 2015 Subaru Impreza is firm, robust and handsome vehicle with confident driving and handling. It is offered in hatchback and sedan variants with available 2.0i Limited, 2.0i Premium and standard 2.0i trim levels. Hatchback itself has two more trims: 2.0i Sport Premium and Sport Limited. There are also high-class WRX STI and WRX models that provide absolutely amazing performance.
There almost no changes in this car shape, however slight redesign features new style of front end, novel grille with bumper, and headlamps. Side glass is said to be more solid than its forerunner had. Thus, noise level is somewhat decreased. Fold-flat rear seats allow you to put more things with you when you travel, while lots of useful trays, bins and 12V power sockets and other tiny elements provide great user experience. Materials, which are used in the cabin, were also improved.
Engine is the same for all models of 2015 Subaru Impreza, and it is horizontally opposed 2.0 liter with four cylinders. This motor can generate 148 horsepower, and, for 2.0i and 2.0i Sport Premium, is coupled with five-speed manual and configured with all-wheel drive system by default. You can also choose CVT, but Limited version features it as standard. AWD hear is different and gives more power to the front wheels.
25/34 mpg is estimated mileage for sedan and hatchback (excluding Sport versions) with manual transmission. Sport hatchbacks mileage is one 1 mpg less. If your Impreza sedan or hatchback (except for Sport) uses CVT, then it reaches 28/37 mpg, while Sport gets 27/36. CVT-equipped sedan accelerates from 0 to 60 in 9.6 seconds, while hatchback needs 9.7 seconds for that. It’s not so bad taking into account that it has AWD configuration and additional weight.
Price is affordable – 2015 Subaru Impreza MSRP is $18,195.
