New 2015 Nissan Pathfinder is a perfect crossover SUV solution (not truck-based one, as it was before), if you have a big family or often travel with a big company of your friends – it hosts up to seven passengers, which is absolutely outstanding.
You may choose between four options: SL, SV, S and Platinum. Each of them has distinctive features and capabilities.
From the outside, 2015 Nissan Pathfinder looks well-proportioned due to novel curves, even though this car is quite huge and high. Cabin features three rows of seats, and is quite lovely with materials of high quality and alluring features. Comparing to other cars, headroom in the third row is enough even for tall people. Controls and gauges are easy-to-use and are located in a visible place. The touchscreen is absolutely amazing because of its easy-friendliness. Bluetooth is available only in SV (phone calls), SL and Platinum (streaming audio).
Performance is guaranteed by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that provides 260 hp and 240 lb.-ft of torque. Updated continuously variable transmission can perform shifting, which is very alike to ordinary automatic transmission. It can be used with front- or four-wheel drive. If you use the latter, it features hill-descent control, which is very useful on somewhat extreme roads or when you are in a hurry. According to some tests, this car can accelerate up to 60 mph in just 8 seconds. The fuel efficiency is rated at 23 mpg (city/highway combined) for front-wheel drive configuration, and 22 mpg – for all-wheel drive configuration. Overall, Pathfinder can carry up to 5,000 pounds.
2015 Nissan Pathfinder MSRP is $29,510.
